Job summary

Interaction Engineering in Peterborough is seeking a motivated Apprentice Welder Fabricator to join the team. You will gain hands-on training, learn welding and fabrication skills, and work toward a recognised qualification.

On-the-job training is provided by experienced engineers, with a supportive environment and clear progression opportunities upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

Our client is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Welder Fabricator to join their growing team in Peterborough.

This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in engineering, gaining hands‑on experience while working alongside skilled professionals. You'll receive on-the-job training, develop valuable fabrication and welding skills, and work towards a recognised qualification.

What You'll Be Doing

• Learn how to fabricate and weld a variety of metal components.
• Assist with the manufacture and assembly of bespoke engineering products.
• Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings with guidance from experienced colleagues.
• Use workshop tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Develop MIG and TIG welding skills to industry standards.
• Support the fabrication team to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.

What We're Looking For
