Job summary

E3recruitment is seeking a Basic Mig Welder/Workshop Operative to join a global manufacturer of heavy‑duty equipment for the Oil and Gas industry. Based in South Yorkshire with easy access from Barnsley and nearby towns, the role offers Monday–Friday, 7.30am–4.30pm, 42.5 hours per week, with a PAYE rate of £16/hour and overtime opportunities.

You will bring Mig welding experience and have the ability to operate fabrication machinery; ASAP start is preferred.

Job description

Due to organic growth, we are recruiting for a Basic Mig Welder/Workshop Operative to join a Global business that manufacture and produce heavy-duty equipment and components for the Oil and Gas Industry.

The company is based in South Yorkshire with easy access from surrounding towns and cities such as Barnsley, Chesterfield, Doncaster, Rotherham, Sheffield, and Worksop.

Standard Working Hours :

• Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm
• 42.5hours paid working week.

In return, the successful Mig Welder will receive:

• PAYE Hourly Rate is £16.00an hour
• Ongoing Agency Work , maybe potential of a permanent position.
• Overtime is readily available at premium rates.
• Ongoing development and training.

Ideally, the successful Mig Welder will have:

• Experience of Mig Welding.
• Experience of using fabrication machinery
• Able to start ASAP.
