Job summary

Stannah Group is seeking a Fabricator Welder for our Newburn site. You will join our team to weld and fabricate metal components using MAG welding techniques, following drawings produced by our Rail Design Team, and ensuring products meet quality standards.

The role is permanent, with a 37-hour week and shifts from 19:45 to 05:45, with a 33% uplift for those hours. Experience reading drawings and working to tight tolerances is essential.

Qualifications

• Skilled in polishing and cosmetic finishing using hand air tools.
• Understanding of working to fine tolerances and digital bevel gauges.

Fabricator Welder Jobs in Newburn at Stannah – Join Our Team!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fabricator Welder to join Stannah, based at Newburn.

This job will involve joining and fabricating metal components using MAG welding techniques. Using drawings created by our in-house Rail Design Team. You'll make sure each product meets quality standards and is completed right first time.

As a Fabricator Welder, you'll work 37 hours per week in a permanent role:

Monday to Wednesday 19:45 to 05:45, Thursday 19:45 to 04:45.

You will receive a 33% shift uplift during these hours .

We're looking for someone with proven MAG welding experience and the ability to accurately interpret technical drawings. Experience using oxy-acetylene heating equipment and working to precise tolerances would be advantageous.
