Job summary

Stannah Group in Newburn is seeking a Fabricator Welder to join our team. The role involves MAG welding and fabrication from drawings created by our Rail Design Team, ensuring each product meets quality standards and is completed right first time.

The position is 37 hours per week with night shifts; a 33% uplift is paid during these hours. Experience with oxy-acetylene heating and precise tolerances is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in MAG welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Skilled in polishing and cosmetic finishing using hand air tools.
• Understanding of working to fine tolerances and digital bevel gauges.

Responsibilities

• Complete welding and fabrication jobs within the required specification.

• Deliver high-quality work that meets QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) standards.

Job Description
Fabricator Welder Jobs in Newburn at Stannah – Join Our Team!
We have an exciting opportunity for a Fabricator Welder to join Stannah, based at Newburn. This job will involve joining and fabricating metal components using MAG welding techniques. Using drawings created by our in-house Rail Design Team. You'll make sure each product meets quality standards and is completed right first time.

As a Fabricator Welder, you'll work 37 hours per week in a permanent role:
Monday to Wednesday 19:45 to 05:45, Thursday 19:45 to 04:45.
You will receive a 33% shift uplift during these hours .

We're looking for someone with proven MAG welding experience and the ability to accurately interpret technical drawings. Experience using oxy-acetylene heating equipment and working to precise tolerances would be advantageous.

Fabricator Welder Responsibilities:
