Job summary

Stannah, based at Newburn, is seeking a Fabricator Welder to join our team. You will join from MAG welding, read detailed drawings, and fabricate metal components to high quality and tolerance standards.

The role is 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, with a permanent contract. You'll work from 06:15 to 16:00, using in-house Rail Design Team drawings, and contribute to delivering Right First Time products.

Qualifications

• Experience in MAG welding and interpreting technical drawings.
• Desirable: experience with Oxy-Acetylene heating equipment.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances.
• Follow Works Instructions and health & safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Complete welding and fabrication jobs within the required specification.
• Read and interpret detailed product drawings.
• Deliver high-quality work that meets QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow Works Instructions and health and safety protocols.
• Experience in MAG welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Polish and cosmetic finishing using hand tools.
• Understand working to fine tolerances and digital bevel gauges.
