Job summary

Jark Plc in the Bury area is seeking time-served Welders and Platers to join our team. You will fabricate structural steel items of varying grades and thicknesses and perform MIG/MAG and flux-core welding to coded standards.

You will be expected to read and interpret engineering drawings and work on shop-floor projects with a skilled crew. This permanent role offers consistent hours and opportunities for overtime in a demanding steel environment.

Qualifications

• Time-served or apprentice-trained with shop-floor experience in structural or heavy steel environments.
• Experience welding to coded standards.
• Confident working from technical drawings.
