Job summary

MTrec Ltd Technical is recruiting a Welder Fabricator for an engineering environment in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will fabricate and weld components, ensuring adherence to drawings and quality standards, with a permanent role offering 37 hours per week Mon-Thu and OT on Fridays.

The ideal candidate will be time served with MIG and TIG experience, capable of reading drawings and using overhead cranes, oxy-acetylene burn, and forming equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be time served.
• Proven welder fabricator experience.
• MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good housekeeping and attention to detail.
• Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld products in an engineering environment.
• Ensure accurate fabrication to engineering drawings.
• Maintain the highest quality standards.
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping.
• Work as a permanent role with 37-hour week (Mon-Thu; Friday OT).
