Work Environment:
. Modern workshop and fabrication areas
. Final assembly space

Key Responsibilities:
. Perform MAG (135) welding on carbon steel and armoured fabrications
. Operate TIG welding equipment when required
. Read and interpret engineering drawings
. Carry out visual inspection of welded joints (BS EN ISO 17673:2016)
. Work to project deadlines and maintain high-quality standards
. Maintain certifications to BS EN ISO 9606-1
. Ensure a safe, tidy, and organised work area
Experience & Qualifications:
. Previous experience with MAG welding on aluminium, stainless, and mild steel
. Familiar with BS EN ISO 9606-1, ISO 3834-2, EN 15085-2, or DIN 2303 Q2
. NVQ / City & Guilds in Welding or Fabrication
. ISO 9606-1 or equivalent coding (ASME IX, AWS D17.1)
. CSWIP 3.0 or PCN (VT) Level 1 (desirable)
. Strong attention to detail and ability to work to fine tolerances
