About The Job And Your Team

Reporting to the Anodizing & Value Add Manager, the Welder Fabricator will primarily manufacture Jigs to support the Anodising process and assist in other fabrication requirements across the site.

Responsibilities

• Use welders and torches to join aluminium and other metal components.
• Interpret drawings to execute jobs accurately.
• Assess equipment, materials, and job specifications for welding procedures.
• Monitor equipment for proper operation and temperature control.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
• Operate specialized machinery for complex contracts.
• Prepare components for welding and inspect finished welds for quality.

Qualifications and Skills

• Essential: AWS welding certification
• Preferable: Coded Welder certification
• Desirable: NVQ in fabrication and welding
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding
• Ability to read technical drawings
