Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Fabricator Welder in Sheffield to join on-site operations. The role is temporary with a potential to become permanent after 12 weeks. Pay ranges from £14-£18 per hour, with standard hours and overtime opportunities.

You will fabricate, weld, and interpret technical drawings for vehicle body builds and refurbishments. Ideal candidates have MIG welding experience, proficiency with drawings, and the ability to work safely as part of a team.

Qualifications

Position: Fabricator Welder

Location: Sheffield (Ideal for candidates based in Sheffield, Chesterfield, or Rotherham)

Type: Temporary (with potential to become permanent after 12 weeks)

Pay: £14-£18

We are working with a leading provider of vehicle solutions, currently seeking a skilled Fabricator Welder to join their growing team. This role is based on-site and offers the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful 12-week temporary period.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in fabrication and MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• A UK Driver's License is required; an HGV license is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong teamwork skills and a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

As a Fabricator Welder, you will:

• Fabricate and assemble metal components for vehicle body builds and sub-assemblies.
• Carry out MIG welding tasks to a high standard.
• Read and work from detailed technical drawings and build specifications.
• Work on refurbishment projects and new vehicle builds.
• Maintain safe working practices and contribute to production targets.

Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: £14 to £18.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience)
• Working Hours:
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Overtime: Time and a half after 39 hours, with Saturday morning overtime available
  • Full PPE and uniform provided, with personal locker
