Actio Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing company based in Bristol for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Welder Fabricator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy workshop team, working on a variety of fabrication projects using steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other materials.

The role is entirely workshop-based, with no site work required, and offers competitive pay of £15.00 - £18.00 per hour, depending on experience, with

Qualifications

• Experience within a sheet metal, fabrication or welding environment.
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding.
• Experience operating press brakes, punches, guillotines and laser cutting equipment.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.

Sheet Metal Worker / Welder Fabricator

Actio Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an established manufacturing company based in Bristol for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Welder Fabricator.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy workshop team, working on a variety of fabrication projects using steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other materials. The role is entirely workshop-based, with no site work required.

Competitive pay of £15.00 - £18.00 per hour, depending on experience

Monday to Friday days shift

The Role

As a Sheet Metal Worker / Welder Fabricator, you will be involved in all aspects of fabrication and sheet metal manufacturing, from interpreting engineering drawings through to the production and finishing of high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding
• Fabrication and assembly of metal components
• Operating press brake machinery
• Using punch and guillotine equipment
• Operating laser cutting machinery
• Working with steel, stainless steel, aluminium and other materials
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Measuring, cutting, forming and preparing materials
• Ensuring products meet quality standards
• Maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience within a sheet metal, fabrication or welding environment
• Proficient in MIG and TIG welding
• Experience operating press brakes, punches, guillotines and laser cutting equipment
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
