Job Opportunity: MIG Welder / Fabricator

Location: North Shields

Salary: £32,390 per annum

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm

Marshalls Landscape Protection provides protective street furniture designed to promote the safety of shared urban spaces. As part of the Marshalls Group, we offer a wide range of products including bollards, planters, and seating, available in various materials and tested for crash safety or non-crash applications. Our portfolio supports urban development in terms of safety and aesthetic appeal.

We are currently recruiting for a MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team at North Shields.

Role Overview

In this role, you will support the production of our range of street furniture and counter-terrorism products. We are looking for enthusiastic team players who are eager to succeed and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on Mild Steel (2mm to 20mm thick)
• Dress welds to a high standard
• Carry out basic fabrication tasks
• Support other areas of the site as needed during holidays and absences

Essential Skills

• Previous MIG welding experience
• Experience in a factory or similar environment
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Excellent communication skills
