Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Welder Fabricator role for our client based in the Kidderminster area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist skilled welders in fabrication and assembly tasks.
• Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Develop skills in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick.
• Maintain and operate welding equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure quality and precision in all work produced.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Take part in ongoing training and development to expand your skill set.

Requirements:

• A keen interest in welding and fabrication.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is beneficial, but not essential.
• Ability to work well within a team and independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.

Hours of work:

Monday - Thursday 8am - 4:30pm.

Friday 8am - 3:30pm.

Overtime available.

Rate of Pay:

GBP13 to 13.50 per hour depending on experience.

Overtime at 1.5.
