Pay Rate: £16.00 – £17.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team in Worcester. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. This is a great opportunity for a motivated fabricator looking for long-term, stable employment in a supportive workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding to a high standard on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components
• Read and interpret technical engineering drawings and fabricate components accordingly
• Operate workshop tools and machinery including press brakes, grinders, and cutting tools
• Carry out sheet metal fabrication, tacking, fitting, and final assembly
• Conduct visual checks and measurements to ensure work meets required tolerances
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator
• Strong knowledge of MIG and TIG welding techniques across various metals
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Competent in metal preparation, cutting, bending, and finishing
• A positive work ethic and strong attention to detail
• Relevant welding/fabrication qualifications or time-served experience preferred
• Overtime available at enhanced rates
