Job summary

TipTopJob in Ipswich is seeking a Welder Fabricator to join a friendly engineering team with a history of over 80 years. The role involves welding, fabrication and sheet metal work on high-quality industrial equipment, using MIG and TIG processes.

You will work from engineering drawings, operate presses, guillotines and saws, and perform fitting, finishing and quality checks on assembled components. 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with a Friday finish at 1pm.

Qualifications

• Welding, fabrication and sheet metal work experience required.
• MIG and TIG welding experience is essential.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Capable of operating related fabrication machinery.

Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding on heavy gauge components.
• Fabricating and assembling metal parts from drawings.
• Inspecting quality and fitting components as required.
• Operating press brakes, guillotines and saws & completing checks.

Welder Fabricator required for a leading engineering company due to continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a company within a friendly team with a well:established trading history of over 80 years.

This role would suit candidates with proven experience in welding, fabrication and sheet metal work. You will need experience with MIG and TIG welding.

The successful candidate will be joining a team of four, responsible for fabricating, welding and assembling metal components for high:quality industrial equipment.

The Welder Fabricator Role
