Job summary

Yolk Recruitment represents an established manufacturing business seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join its skilled production team in Ebbw Vale. The role requires producing high-quality fabricated components using TIG and MIG welding techniques, working with sheet metal and structural materials, and following technical drawings to meet quality and safety standards.

The successful candidate will have proven TIG/MIG welding experience, be able to read drawings, operate workshop tools

Qualifications

• Experience as Welder/Fabricator or in a manufacturing role.

Welder/Fabricator

Ebbw Vale

£37,000 to £43,000 per annum

7:00am to 3:30pm

Yolk Recruitment is representing an established manufacturing business seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join its skilled production team in Ebbw Vale.

This permanent opportunity will see you produce high-quality fabricated components using TIG and MIG welding techniques. You will work with sheet metal and structural materials, following technical drawings and specifications to deliver accurate work to the required quality and safety standards.

What You'll Do

• Carrying out TIG and MIG welding across a range of fabricated components
• Manufacturing parts and assemblies accurately from technical drawings and specifications
• Working with sheet metal and structural materials
• Using hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
• Assembling fabricated components while maintaining accuracy and build quality
• Inspecting completed work to confirm it meets the required standards and tolerances
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Working closely with colleagues to achieve production targets and maintain an efficient workflow

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in a Welder, Fabricator or similar manufacturing role
• Practical experience in TIG or MIG welding
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and fabrication specifications
• Experience working with sheet metal, structural components or fabricated assemblies
• Confidence using hand tools, power tools and workshop fabrication equipment
• Good numerical skills for measurements, calculations and tolerances
• A strong understanding of quality standards and safe working practices
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
• The ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a production team
