Job summary

TipTopJob in Droitwich is seeking a Welder Fabricator to join a growing team. You will read detailed engineering drawings and weld using MIG on aluminium to high accuracy, while fabricating parts with workshop equipment including a press brake.

Experience in a workshop setting and welding on heavy vehicles is advantageous. The role is up to £36,400 per year, dependent on experience, and offers a hands-on opportunity within a specialist manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Welder Fabricator position.
• Experience working within a workshop environment.
• Experience welding on heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Read and work to detailed engineering drawings.
• Weld using 1.2mm wire to high levels of accuracy.
• Use workshop equipment such as a press brake to fabricate parts and components.
• Ensure that products meet the clients exact specifications.
• Provide technical support to the wider engineering team when required.
• Quality inspect welds and produced parts.

Our client is a specialist manufacturer of custom heavy machinery and vehicles. They are seeking a Welder Fabricator to join their growing team. As a Welder Fabricator, you will work to engineering drawings, use workshop equipment, fabricate and weld products.
