We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team at T&V Engineering Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components and structures according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of metalworking processes to produce high-quality fabricated products.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from fabrication drawings, blueprints, technical plans, and work instructions.
• Fabricate metal structures, components, and assemblies using a range of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Cut, shape, and form metal using saws, torches, grinders and plasma cutters
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding/fabrication equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Fit and assemble components using jigs and fixtures to ensure precise dimensions and alignments.
• Conduct weld inspections and perform quality checks to ensure adherence to industry standards and client specifications.
• Perform layout and measurement tasks using tape measures, squares, calipers, and other precision instruments.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other fabricators to meet production deadlines and resolve fabrication challenges.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a welder/fabricator in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes (stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum).
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication schematics.
• Experience with fabrication machinery (bandsaws, plasma cutters, etc.).
• Solid understanding of welding symbols, tolerances, and materials.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
