Shifts: Monday to Friday, 07:00 AM - 04:00 PM (early finish on Friday at 3:00 PM)

Type: Permanent

Pay rate: Up to £14-£16 per hour

Location: Burton on Trent - DE15

About the Role

Our client is a leading manufacturer of highly-engineered, specialty metal components and assemblies. They are seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator to join their expert team. They specialize in welding and fabricating heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant steels and alloys, focusing on high-temperature and high-pressure furnace tubes and components. Their work supports industries with demanding standards, including aerospace, petrochemical, nuclear, energy, steel, and defence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. TIG welding of high-performance metals and alloys
2. Fabrication and assembly of complex metal components
3. Welding of heat- and corrosion-resistant steels for high-pressure, high-temperature environments
4. Working from engineering drawings to fabricate and weld precision components
5. Ensuring all work complies with industry and safety standards

What We're Looking For:

1. Proven experience in TIG welding and metal fabrication
2. Ability to work with specialty metals and alloys
3. Competence in reading and working from engineering drawings
4. A meticulous approach with a focus on quality and precision
5. Experience in sectors like aerospace, energy, or defence is advantageous
