Job summary

Ford & Stanley Talentwise in Tamworth is seeking an experienced Aluminium TIG Welder to join a leading rail and transport manufacturer. You will perform TIG welding on thin-gauge aluminium and stainless steel, reading detailed drawings to meet tight tolerances and safety standards.

Shifts are Monday to Thursday, 06:45–16:45, with a 6‑month contract and a rate of £16.45 per hour. You will contribute to components used in world‑class transport systems, upholding quality and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a TIG Welder.
• Expertise in welding aluminium and/or stainless steel.
• Relevant welding qualifications are advantageous.

The Opportunity

Leading manufacturer in the rail and transport industry, seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join their team in Tamworth. The components you weld will be used in the world's most advanced transport systems, directly contributing to the safety of millions of passengers every day. You will be responsible for TIG welding intricate, high-tolerance components, primarily from thin-gauge stainless steel and aluminium.
