Job summary

Whittaker Group Ltd in Stonehaven is recruiting time-served Welders to join its workshop team. The role covers a varied range of projects, including pipework, structural fabrications and vessel repairs, with opportunities for offshore and site work.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in multiple welding processes, able to work with ferrous and non-ferrous materials, and capable of reading technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience with various welding processes across ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Offshore certification would be beneficial but is not essential.
• Commuting daily to Stonehaven facility is required and sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Weld on pipework, structural fabrications, vessel repairs and heat exchanger construction.
• Work on offshore and site projects as required.

Job description

As a result of continued growth, we are looking to recruit experienced, time-served Welders to join our team.

This full time role is based at our workshop in Stonehaven, with excellent opportunities also available for offshore and site work.

Our welders work on a varied range of projects, including pipework, structural fabrications, vessel repairs, and heat exchanger construction and refurbishment.

The ideal candidate would be skilled in various welding processes, and have experience working with both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately is essential.

Valid offshore certification would be beneficial, but is not essential.

Excellent working conditions, remuneration package and benefits are available.

Hourly rate depends on experience, based on a 39 hour working week. Regular overtime is available.

All applicants must be capable of commuting daily to our Stonehaven facility. The Company does not have a sponsorship licence.
