Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking an experienced Welder to join its client in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, NG17, for an immediate start in a heavy industrial manufacturing and fabrication environment.

You will perform MIG welding and fabricate heavy steel components, working from engineering drawings, while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

This temp-to-perm role offers day shifts, overtime, and full induction, with a competitive hourly pay of £16-£24, depending on experience and shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience is essential.
• Good MIG welding experience.
• Experience welding around CHS is beneficial.
• Experience within a heavy industrial, engineering, manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Comfortable working with steel and heavier components.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable and hardworking.
• Able to work safely and efficiently in a busy workshop.

• Steel fabrication and assembly
• Working with heavy steel components
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications where required
• Ensuring work meets the required quality standards
• Following health and safety procedures
