Job summary

Ford & Stanley Talentwise is seeking an experienced MMA/MAG Welder for a long-term opportunity. Training will be provided in Doncaster, with a permanent base in Barton Under Needwood.

You will work on rail industry components, performing MMA and MAG welding and repair of manganese liners, following drawings and safety rules. The role offers a stable workload, with pay at £18.79 per hour (£36,156 per annum) and the option of contract or permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Previous MMA and MAG welding experience.
• Experience welding in vertical and overhead positions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Own flame-retardant overalls.
• Own welding boots.
• PPE Provided.

Responsibilities

• Welding to drawings and quality standards.
• Adhering to all site health and safety requirements.
• Welding and repair of manganese liners.
• Maintaining consistent workmanship across positions (MMA/MAG).

MMA / MAG Welder

Are you an experienced Welder looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent earning potential and specialist training provided?

We are currently recruiting for welders to join a growing team, initially based in Doncaster for training, before transitioning to a permanent working location in Barton Under Needwood. This role offers the opportunity to work on rail industry components, carrying out high-quality welding and repair work on manganese liners. You will recieve an additional 2 hours pay while on training in Doncaster plus milage.

The Role

• MMA Fillet & Lap Welding (Vertical and Overhead positions)
• MAG Butt & Fillet Welding (Vertical and Overhead positions)
• Welding and repair of Manganese Liners
• Working to engineering drawings and quality standards
• Adhering to all site health and safety requirements
