Job summary

NG Bailey Group Limited in Bradford, West Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team and fabricate Offsite solutions in a safety-first environment. You will weld carbon and stainless-steel assemblies to strict quality standards and to programme timelines, ensuring outputs meet required specifications.

Working in a dynamic manufacturing setting, you will maintain high housekeeping standards, support continuous improvement initiatives, and complete all quality documentation

Qualifications

• Welding of carbon steel to BS EN 287-1.
• Stainless steel welding to BS EN 287-1.
• Pipe fitting experience.
• Welding inspection background and attention to detail is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture welding assemblies to required technical and quality standards.
• Comply with health and safety standards and site procedures.
• Maintain welding bays and workplace organisation, supporting lean improvements.
• Complete quality control documentation and address defects promptly.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency improvements.

Job description

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Welder to join our dynamic team in Bradford, West Yorkshire. In this position you will manufacture Offsite solutions within a safe working environment using safe working procedures. You will ensure all outputs are welded to the right quality standard at the optimum efficiency levels, within budget, fully complete and to programme.

• Comply with the company's health and safety standards, ensuring that the safety first and foremost message is visible and alive throughout all activities undertaken.
• Manufacture welding assemblies to the relevant technical and quality standard and the required programme.
• Undertake any such work as requested to maintain operational efficiency, minimising non productive time.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation within weld bays and wider factory, at all times.
• Take responsibility for your own quality output, completing all necessary quality control documentation whilst identifying and addressing quality issues. Identify, highlight and record any other problems that arise during manufacture.
• Contribute to improvements through the application of continuous improvement techniques and Lean. We’ll do our best to outline the recruitment process to you ahead of time with plenty of notice.
