Major Recruitment Huddersfield is partnering with a prominent international automotive manufacturer in Baildon/Shipley, seeking skilled welders for a long-term position. The role covers MIG, TIG or CMT welding within a heavy industrial setting, with emphasis on safety and efficiency in a factory workflow.

Ideal candidates will have MIG/TIG/CMT welding experience, strong manual handling ability, reliability, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of TIG, MIG or CMT Welding.
• Proficiency in manual handling, with the ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
• Strong work ethic, ensuring punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Effective timekeeping.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Major Recruitment is excited to partner with a prominent international automotive business with a large Factory in Baildon/Shipley. This industry leader specializes in manufacturing Engine Cooling Systems for Off-Highway Vehicles.

Due to an increase in work load the business is looking for MIG/TIG or CMT Welders to join the factory team on a long term ongoing basis. Commutable from Bradford and West Leeds.

Working Hours

Weekly alternating OR Nights

Week 1:
Monday-Thursday:6am-2pm, Friday:6am-11:00am
Week 2:
Monday-Thursday:2pm-10pm, Friday: 11:00am-4:00pm

Nights:
Monday-Thursday: 10pm-6am, Friday: 16:00pm-21:00pm

Pay

£16.16 - £17.24 per hour
