Job summary

Your World Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a private healthcare provider for a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber to join a Nottingham-based weight loss service. The role involves clinical consultations, GLP-1 prescribing, and patient support in a hybrid setup.

Hybrid working – 3 days per week, with a focus on safe, patient-centred care and adherence to GPhC standards within a private healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• GPhC registration is required.
• Experience prescribing GLP-1 medications in private settings is essential.
• Strong understanding of weight management and GLP-1 treatments.
• Excellent clinical assessment and consultation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical consultations for weight management patients.
• Independently prescribe GLP-1 medications per guidelines.
• Assess patient suitability and provide ongoing monitoring.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure GPhC standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop care plans.
• Support ongoing development of the weight loss service.
