Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for a Security / Weighbridge Operator in Wheatley, Oxfordshire. This is a temp-to-perm position on a busy builder's merchant site, with regular hours and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour (increasing after 12 weeks).

You will handle weighbridge duties, goods in/out, and security procedures while providing professional service to customers and drivers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in weighbridge, gatehouse, security, goods in/out, or traffic management is desirable.
• Experience on builder's merchant sites or construction materials environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage goods in and goods out operations.
• Check deliveries and complete all paperwork accurately.
• Carry out customer vehicle checks and random spot checks.
• Operate the weighbridge and weigh vehicles in and out of site.
• Direct visitors, customers and delivery drivers around the site safely.
• Maintain accurate records and follow site security procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service in a busy operational environment.
