The Best Connection is seeking an experienced Weighbridge Administrator to join their Coventry CV6 site. You will operate the weighbridge, weigh vehicles, and record weights and details while issuing tickets. You’ll handle driver communication, paperwork processing, and maintain accurate site records in a fast-paced environment.

This daytime, Monday–Friday role is based on site with a collaborative site team and requires attention to detail and strong administrative skills.

Qualifications

• Previous weighbridge experience is essential.
• Experience in busy site, waste, recycling, logistics or similar environment.
• Strong administration and data-entry skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly when recording weights and vehicle information.
• Good computer skills and confidence using databases and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Operating the site weighbridge and accurately weighing vehicles entering and leaving the site.
• Recording vehicle weights, registration numbers, driver details and details of the materials/load being carried.
• Processing and issuing weighbridge tickets for incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Checking that information provided by drivers matches the relevant paperwork and system records.
• Booking vehicles in and out of the site and managing vehicle movements.
• Processing delivery and collection documentation.
• Completing waste transfer notes and other relevant site documentation where required.
• Entering accurate information onto the weighbridge system and internal databases.
• Maintaining accurate records of vehicle movements, weights and loads.
• Liaising directly with drivers arriving on site and providing instructions on where they need to go.
• Communicating with customers, suppliers, transport teams and site operatives.
• Dealing with queries relating to collections, deliveries, weights and paperwork.
• Identifying and reporting any discrepancies with loads, weights or documentation.
• Assisting with daily and weekly reports, spreadsheets and general site administration.
• Filing and maintaining paperwork and ensuring records are kept up to date.
• Following all company procedures relating to health & safety, environmental regulations and site security.
• Working closely with the site team to ensure vehicles are processed efficiently and the weighbridge operates smoothly
