Job summary

Personnel Solutions (Midlands) Limited are recruiting for a Weighbridge Operator to join a busy recycling and waste management facility in Blackpool. You will manage vehicle movements, record weights and provide administrative support.

Working full-time, Monday to Friday, you will start immediately on a six-month contract with potential permanent employment and the chance to develop experience within the waste industry.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
• Weighbridge experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge system and record vehicle weights.
• Monitor vehicles entering and leaving the site.
• Maintain accurate tonnage records and documentation.
• Answer telephone calls and handle general admin.
• Conduct visitor inductions and ensure PPE compliance.
• Support health and safety procedures on site.
• Provide customer service to drivers and visitors.
