Job summary

SUEZ is hiring a Weighbridge Operator at our Taunton site. This permanent, full-time role is 40 hours per week with a salary of £26,271.50. You will operate the weighbridge, manage entries/exits, and maintain the site diary while delivering excellent front-line customer service.

You will undertake general admin duties, perform visitor inductions, ensure PPE is provided, and complete documentation in line with legal guidelines. A flexible, team-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Flexible approach to work, covering holidays and sick days.
• Willingness to take on other on-site roles with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge system controlling all site entries and exits.
• Maintain the site diary and keep the office organised at all times.
• Assist with general administrative duties, including phones and visitor inductions.
• Ensure visitors are equipped with appropriate PPE and complete required documentation.
• Follow SUEZ health and safety policies at all times and communicate effectively with the team.
