Job summary

Gap Group NE Ltd in Perth is seeking a reliable Weighbridge Operator / Administrator to join our busy site. You will accurately record vehicle weights, process dockets and provide professional service to drivers and contractors.

As the first on-site contact, you will greet visitors, manage documentation, support daily site operations and maintain accurate records using weighbridge software and MS Office. You will liaise with drivers and suppliers to ensure smooth, compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Previous weighbridge experience preferred.
• Strong administration and data entry skills with high attention to detail.
• Good computer literacy (MS Office, email systems, and weighbridge software).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of recycling or waste industry advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate weighbridge system to accurately record incoming and outgoing vehicle weights.
• Generate and process dockets, invoices, and delivery documentation.
• Verify load details and ensure compliance with site and environmental regulations.
• Direct vehicle traffic safely within the facility.
• Maintain accurate electronic and manual records.
• Data entry and reconciliation of daily transactions.
• Prepare reports for management (daily/weekly/monthly tonnage reports).
• Filing, record management, and document control.
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer enquiries.
• Liaise with drivers, customers, contractors, and internal departments.
