Job summary

LNS Recruitment are seeking a reliable weighbridge operator to join a busy Rainham site team. Location: Rainham. Hours: Mon-Fri 07:00-17:30; occasional Sat and out-of-hours work may be required by prior agreement.

You will operate the weighbridge, record inbound/outbound materials, weigh items accurately, and maintain records and reports while upholding health and safety standards. Experience in waste/construction weighbridge operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate the weighbridge and record inbound and outbound materials.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Communicate with drivers, site supervisors and site teams.
• Carry out visual checks on incoming materials.
• Use weighbridge software and IT systems.
• Report equipment faults or maintenance issues.
• Produce reports and complete general administration.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised weighbridge area.
• Follow all health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to drivers and visitors.

LNS Recruitment are currently looking for a reliable and organised Weighbridge Operator to join a busy site team in Rainham.

Location: Rainham

Hours: Monday-Friday, 07:00-17:30

Occasional Saturday & out-of-hours work may be required by prior agreement.

THE ROLE

You'll play an important role in ensuring the safe, efficient and accurate movement of materials on and off site.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating the weighbridge and recording inbound and outbound materials
• Weighing soil, aggregates and other materials accurately
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Communicating with drivers, site supervisors and site teams
• Carrying out visual checks on incoming materials
• Using weighbridge software and IT systems
• Reporting equipment faults or maintenance issues
• Producing reports and completing general administration
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised weighbridge area
• Following all health, safety and environmental procedures
• Providing a professional and friendly service to drivers and visitors
