The role offers an annual up to £32,000.00, depending on skills and experience, plus an additional shift allowance.Tasks and responsibilities:Responsible for managing an assigned floor or area within the warehouse, including operational processes, people, and client relationships; proactively planning labour, equipment, and activities during the shift; and fostering a safe working culture that supports team and individual development.Key tasks:Manage staff and workflow in a designated areaEnsure safe working practices are followedSupport team development through coaching and feedbackAssist with performance management, disciplinary procedures, and absence management in line with company policiesDrive continuous improvement and support ad hoc projectsBe accountable for team performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), including productivity, accuracy, and service levelsProfile:Leadership experience, preferably in logistics, retail, or e-commerceExperienced in managing teamsKnowledge of Warehouse Management Systems such as JDADelivers accurate, high-quality work while seeking continuous improvementCommunicates respectfully and inspires team engagementAutomation experience highly desirableWhat do we offer ?Our people are at the heart of what we do.
