Job summary

Bleckmann is seeking a highly capable Continuous Improvement Specialist for its UK operations. The role focuses on leading and coordinating CI efforts across the operation, applying standard improvement methodologies, and driving measurable efficiency gains.

You will coach a team of CI professionals, collaborate with stakeholders, and turn data into practical improvements while maintaining a pragmatic, results-driven approach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in Continuous Improvement within an operational environment (Lean, Six Sigma or similar).
  • Experience leading and developing teams in a performance-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into practical improvements.
  • Good understanding of warehouse, logistics or operational processes.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
  • Pragmatic, results-focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for supporting operational performance through the identification, development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Leads local Continuous Improvement activities, drives the application of improvement methodologies and supports operational teams in delivering sustainable efficiency, quality and performance improvements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and business impact
  • Lead and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives across the operational area
  • Identify and analyse improvement opportunities using operational data and stakeholder feedback
  • Support operational teams in implementing sustainable improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and report on the progress and effectiveness of improvement actions
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Continuous Improvement Specialists
  • Ensure consistent application of Continuous Improvement methodologies and standards
  • Collaborate with operational stakeholders to align improvement activities with business needs
  • Provide regular updates on Continuous Improvement activities, progress and outcomes
