Job summary

GLL is hiring Swimming Teachers at The White Horse Leisure & Tennis Centre in Abingdon. You will deliver safe, confident swimming lessons for groups or individuals, helping learners of all ages progress and gain real water confidence.

You’ll need STA Award or Swim England Level 2 (National Rescue Award preferred) and a solid understanding of health, safety, and safeguarding policies. Flexible hours are available, with a commitment to community benefits and staff development.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering swimming lessons to various age groups.
• Ability to maintain pupil safety and apply progression steps.
• Strong communication and motivational skills with pupils and parents.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, engaging swimming lessons for groups or individuals.
• Maintain a positive, professional poolside presence.
• Encourage enrolment in further courses and courses advancement.
