Job summary

GLL is hiring Swimming Teachers at Llanishen Leisure Centre. The role involves delivering safe, engaging swimming lessons to diverse ages, in groups or one-to-one, with emphasis on confidence in the water and progression.

Applicants should be STA Award or Swim England Level 2 qualified, ideally with the National Rescue Award. The job offers flexible hours, a living wage employer, and a strong commitment to staff development and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health, safety, and other relevant legislation.
• Understanding of Child Protection Policy.
• STA Award or Swim England Level 2 qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a welcoming, professional poolside service for learners.
• Ensure safety and control of pupils during lessons and enforce regulations.
• Encourage enrolment in further courses and short courses.
• Assist with new-enrolments and re-enrolments as needed by management.
• Follow the safeguarding procedures and behaviour policy in Swim School product.
• Record and award relevant certificates to standards.
