Job summary

Affinity Trust in March, Cambridgeshire, is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist a gentleman in his own home. The role focuses on listening, enabling choice, and promoting independence for someone with complex mental health needs, with a patient, compassionate approach.

You'll provide person-centred support at weekends on Sundays, with a long day and a sleep-in, and you'll complete NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care as part of full training. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience within the health and social care sector essential.

Responsibilities

• Support a gentleman in his own home in March.
• Support individuals with complex mental health needs and manage challenging behaviours.
• Provide care with patience, empathy and a person-centred approach.
• Assist with outings and activities (e.g., Costa, Lego) as part of daily living.
