Job summary

Harrogate Homeless Project (HHP) is seeking two Weekend Support Workers to join the Client Services Team in Harrogate. The roles are part-time (14 hours per week) with shifts 7.30am–2.30pm or 1.30pm–8.00pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Salary is £12.71 per hour, rising to £13.45 after probation, with potential for extra hours. You will support residents across hostel accommodation, Springboard services and flats, helping inductions, record-keeping, and health and safety checks while promoting

Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerable adults, homelessness or social care is desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Positive and proactive attitude and ability to build trusting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Help create a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for clients in hostel, Springboard services and flats.
• Provide practical and emotional support, assist inductions, maintain accurate records, perform health and safety checks.
• Collaborate with colleagues, volunteers and partner agencies to help clients move towards greater independence.
