Society of St James (SSJ) is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Cook to prepare healthy meals for 30 residents at Southampton Street Homeless Hostel in Southampton. The role is Saturdays and Sundays, 12:00–18:00, on-site, with a focus on safety and hygiene.

You will work with the weekday cook to plan and order weekend meals, and you may engage residents to input menu choices. Training and support are provided to meet diverse needs.

Qualificações

• Experience cooking for a group of up to 30 residents, maintaining health and safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to liaise with the weekday cook to plan a weekend menu with input from residents.
• Willingness to engage with residents and support life-skills development.

Responsabilidades

• Cook healthy meals for 30 residents on Saturdays and Sundays (12:00–18:00).
• Maintain health and safety standards and kitchen hygiene at all times.
• Liaise with the weekday cook to order food and plan weekend menus with resident input.
