Job summary

Corps Security in the United Kingdom is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors. You will apply access control, conduct site inductions, and perform patrols as directed by Assignment Instructions.

The role is 24 hours per week, with Saturday and Sunday days from 06:00 to 18:00. Benefits include enhanced sick pay, training programmes, and wellbeing services, among others.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards.
• Valid UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall surveillance of the site with regular patrols and logging as required.
• Brief and sign in all visitors and contractors on site.
• Record entry/exit of deliveries and process paperwork per procedures.
• Set and unset alarm systems for out-of-hours security if applicable.
• Complete daily logs, shift handovers, incident records, and site reports.
• Follow Assignment Instructions and notify management of changes or improvement ideas.
• Maintain training records and keep first aid and fire marshal certifications up to date.
• Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
