Job summary

Horton Housing is recruiting a Project Worker for our central Bradford scheme. The role is permanent part-time, weekends only (Sat and Sun 8am-5pm, 16 hours per week).

The hourly rate is £13.45, equating to about £11,221 per year. You will work with the Service Manager and Support Workers to create a safe, supportive environment and help residents to explore interests through group and one-to-one activities.

Qualifications

• Respectful, clear communication with residents and colleagues.
• Experience or understanding of homelessness and related challenges.
• Ability to work with people facing multiple disadvantages with discretion.
• Willingness to maintain professional boundaries and perform report writing/IT tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support residents to engage in activities, one-to-one or in groups.
• Work with Service Manager and Support Workers to maintain a safe, supportive environment.
• Contribute to person-led support plans and help manage the weekends rota.
