1625 Independent People in Bristol is seeking a part-time, weekend-based role at St George’s House to support young people and manage housing tasks. This 0.5 FTE post offers flexible weekend shifts (Sat/Sun and occasionally Fri) with a permanent contract and pro-rata pay.

You will engage residents, support housing operations, and help ensure safety and community within the building, with full training provided and a strong commitment to inclusion and safeguarding.

• Facilitate lots of varied positive engagement over weekends.
• Help with support and housing management tasks, such as turning around void rooms, collecting Service Charge payments and reporting repairs.
• Ensure the security of the building when on shift.
• Use understanding of the complex needs of young people to manage challenging behaviour.
• Coordinate and co-deliver activities on site, including residents’ meetings.
