Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting for a Weekend Shift Operator in Bicester to join a busy manufacturing operation. This role sits on the production line and suits those with quality inspection or production experience in automotive or manufacturing environments.

You will inspect components, record quality data and support corrective actions to ensure standards are met before dispatch. The schedule runs Fri–Sun, 6:00am–6:00pm, paying £16.77 per hour with 40 hours guaranteed weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, production or automotive environments.
• Strong focus on quality control and documentation.
• Able to work in a fast-paced factory setting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect coated components for finish quality, colour consistency, defects and surface integrity.
• Complete and maintain quality documentation, inspection records and non-conformance reports.
• Work closely with production teams to identify quality issues and support corrective actions.
• Ensure all products meet customer specifications, internal standards and industry requirements.
• Support final quality sign-off prior to packing and dispatch.
• Carry out routine line operating duties within the manufacturing process.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all Health & Safety, quality and ISO procedures at all times.
