Job summary

ManpowerGroup UK is seeking a Weekend Shift Operator in Bicester, Oxfordshire. The role involves inspecting components on a production line to ensure quality before dispatch, with weekend shifts and paid hours that exceed actual worked time.

You will be part of a busy manufacturing operation, performing routine line duties, documenting inspection results and supporting corrective actions with the production team.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/quality inspection or related environments.
• Attention to detail with ability to identify defects.
• Ability to work on a fast-paced, hands-on line.

Responsibilities

• Inspect coated components for finish quality, colour consistency, defects and surface integrity.
• Complete and maintain quality documentation, inspection records and non-conformance reports.
• Work closely with production teams to identify quality issues and support corrective actions.
• Ensure all products meet customer specifications, internal standards and industry requirements.
• Support final quality sign-off prior to packing and dispatch.
• Carry out routine line operating duties within the manufacturing process.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all Health & Safety, quality and ISO procedures at all times.
