Job summary

Personal Budgets Support Service is seeking a part-time Personal Support Worker to assist a private employer in Brigstock, Kettering. The role involves accompanying the employer on outings and in the home, with a focus on safety, mobility assistance and promoting independence.

You must have a full driving licence, appropriate car insurance, and be comfortable handling mobility aids. The position requires reliability, calmness and the ability to follow instructions. PPE may be supplied as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support and accompany the Employer out and about.
• Need a reliable car with space for mobility aid and ability to lift four scooter parts.
• Must have a full driving licence and relevant motor insurance cover.
• If not going out, provide support in the home.
• Be calm and understanding; good organisational skills are an advantage.
• No personal contact required, but provide physical and visual support as needed.
• Promote wellbeing, choice and independence.
• Carry out other tasks within the scope of Personal Support Worker as reasonably asked.
