Job summary

The National Autistic Society is seeking a part-time Support Worker for Longford Court to help residents follow care plans and daily routines in a respectful, supportive environment.

You will assist with personal care and daily activities, promoting independence while offering compassionate, patient support to autistic adults. Weekend shifts are available, with on-site duties at the Longford Court location.

Qualifications

• Inspire others with a positive attitude toward supporting vulnerable people.
• Experience with autistic people is helpful but not essential.
• Personal experience or a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, eating).
• Encourage activities residents enjoy (swimming, hiking, arts & crafts).
• Support life skills and independence (budgeting, shopping, meal preparation).
