Job summary

Autism Anglia in Colchester is seeking a part-time Support Worker to join our Supported Living team. You will work closely with autistic adults and people with learning disabilities to develop life skills and achieve personal goals in a safe, supportive setting.

The role requires a Full UK Manual Driving Licence. You will help with activities, monitor communication and wellbeing, and maintain accurate support plans and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Support Worker or in a caring role is desirable.
• Experience with autistic individuals or strong understanding of autism.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Experience in providing intensive behavioural support is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Supported Living Team to provide person-centred, outcome-focused support.
• Assist individuals with activities including sport, leisure, and day trips.
• Support communication, sensory needs, and wellbeing monitoring.
