Job summary

Russell Taylor Group are recruiting for a Weekend Stock Controller on behalf of a client in Warrington. The role involves maintaining inventory records, cycle counts, and supporting goods movements in a fast-paced warehouse.

The ideal candidate will have stock control experience, strong numerical and Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Immediate start available with potential for a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stock control or inventory role.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience using WMS or stock control software.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels.
• Conducting regular cycle counts and stock audits.
• Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
• Monitoring stock movements and updating internal systems.
• Producing stock and inventory reports.
• Liaising with warehouse and management teams to ensure stock accuracy.
• Supporting goods-in and goods-out processes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve stock control procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety procedures.
