Job summary

18 Week Support is seeking an experienced Consultant Dermatologist & Venerologist to join our teams for weekend insourcing lists, supporting NHS waiting list initiatives in Oxfordshire. You will assess and treat patients within a well-supported, patient-centered environment and contribute to reducing waiting times.

Applicants must hold GMC registration with Specialist Register in Dermatology and an active licence to practise, with NHS consultant experience preferred.

Qualifications

GMC registration with Specialist Register accreditation in Dermatology.
Active Licence to Practise.
Proven NHS Consultant Dermatologist experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously and make sound clinical decisions.

Responsibilities

Assess and treat patients on hospital waiting lists.
Interpret diagnostic tests and clinical findings.
Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
Provide clinical guidance and support to junior staff.
Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and follow-up.
