Job summary

18 Week Support is looking for experienced Consultant Dermatologists for weekend insourcing sessions in Berkshire to support NHS waiting lists. This role provides an opportunity to work in a well-supported and patient-focused environment while covering 2-week wait cancer clinics.

Successful candidates will collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality patient care, and will receive competitive remuneration for their expertise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Consultant Dermatologist within the NHS.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and clinical findings.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients on hospital waiting lists.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to junior medical staff where appropriate.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work autonomously

Education

GMC registration with Specialist Register accreditation in Dermatology

Active Licence to Practise
